Additionally, the planning committee discussed the following information about the overall
results of the events. These often provided useful lessons learned for the planning of future
                      events.

Facilitator Group How did the small group discussion go in general? What
Debrief activities engaged the participants? Did anything fall flat? Were
the information and briefing for facilitators sufficient preparation
for the event? What other suggestions do you have to improve
                                              future events?
Personal Feedback Attendees often stopped to talk with presenters and organizers on
from Attendees the way out of the event. This provided valuable real-time

                                                      Analyzing Outcomes

Having gathered and collated a huge amount of information from the above, the planning
committee went about the task of working to distill it into a useable format.

                               Steps Action(s)
Commonalities Committee members reviewed the individual data sets (small-
group conversation notes, facilitator reports back to large-group,
exit card comment) and looked for commonalities. What items
                                               came up the most frequently?
Trends After the review of the above, common elements from each of
the three data sets were reviewed and discussed by the
committee to search for common trends in the feedback.
Impact What observations seemed most impactful? What did the
committee feel might be most important to share with attendees
and other interested parties in the community?

                                                         Reporting Out

Choose how to condense the information gained above and present it in a way that will
                      hopefully be useful to others.

Executive Summary We were fortunate to have members with exceptional writing
skills on the committee. One member drafted the Executive
Summary. The draft was reviewed by two other committee
members and then presented to the entire committee. After their
