ATTACHMENT 11: GAME PLAN

                          Game Plan for Setting up and Taking Down Patuxent High School

                                                   for the Big Conversation

                      Set up and Take Down Team:

                      Hugh, Diane, Nancy, Vicki, John, Dusty, Alonzo, David D. Carolyn and Skip Steiner, Levi,
                      Joseph  and Students


                      Things to be done:

                      Set-up classrooms for 2 Small Groups each: Hugh Davies – leader

                      Two (2) Classroom set-up Groups:

                         1)  Hugh, Alonzo, Skip, Levi and student (rooms 272, 275, 277, 279, and 288- this one
                             is in the Foreign Language wing)
                         2)  Dusty, Nancy, Joseph and students (rooms 265 ,268, 267, 270, 271)

                      What needs to be done in each classroom:

                         1.  Take a picture with your phone of classroom set-up before you begin. Put the room
                             number sign in the picture.
                         2.  Move chairs and desks so that you can create 2 circles of 15 chairs each in the room.
                             Place the circles as far from each other as possible.
                         3.  Try to disturb as little as possible in the room.
                         4.  Place a set of Post it notes on chair of leader.
                         5.  Post on the classroom door – the sign that has the room number and Groups A/B
                         6.  Post the signs that designates Group A and Group B on the backrest of the leader’s
                             chair
                         7.  Post the four Charts with the questions on a wall or the whiteboard near each group.
                             (A set for each group) Post them in order – 1. Blue, 2.  Red, 3. Green, 4. Blank –
                             Note the fourth chart is for if the group needs extra. Careful: The room number and
                             A or B is written on each chart – please do not confuse them.
                         8.  Set on the Leader’s chair the Red cup with pens/pencils and markers.
                         9.  Close the door and move on to the next room – follow the same procedure
                         10. Once all the rooms are set up, Nancy and Alonzo should escort the students to the
                             lobby to begin the signage set-up.
                         11. For Take Down – reverse the process and bring all charts and materials to Diane at
                             the Registration tables. Be careful not to misplace any of the sticky notes
                         12. Use the picture on your phone to reset the classroom – Please leave it better than you
                             found it!
