Bay Shore Pediatrics Adds New Doctor
Board-certified pediatrician Dr. Bethany God has joined Bay Shore Pediatrics in Suite 207
in the Calvert Medical Arts Building in Prince Frederick. The group, which also includes Drs.
Michael Skolnick, Meghan Chiu, Manbir Singh and Carolyn Bhogte, specializes in the care
of newborns to young adults.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2011 and went
on to complete her training in pediatrics at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in
Bethesda. Dr. God served in the US Navy for 11 years before retiring as a Lt. Commander in
August. “The diverse training and experience I received in the Navy has allowed me to become
a more well-rounded person and physician.”
Dr. God said she chose pediatrics “because I love being able to support and educate families
in the exciting adventure that is child-rearing, especially in the area of preventive medicine.”
She went on to add, “Parenting is hard, I’m here to help families sift through the overwhelming amount of electronic
information available and provide evidence-based practices and recommendations. I want them to feel comfortable and
truly cared about.”
