Committee members from a slate of four (4) or more nominees selected by the
               Nominating Committee.  The candidates will be recruited from Partner
               organizations chosen by the Steering Committee. These Partner organizations
               will be requested to submit in writing a candidate for membership on the
               Steering Committee.  The candidate is not required to be the Partner
               representative.  In order to fill skills needed for the mission of the BCPDRP, the
               Nominating Committee may look beyond the Partner organizations for new
               Steering Committee candidates.  Current or previous Steering Committee
               members may elect to run for another term.


               	       	      D.  Nominating Committee
               	       	      	      The Nominating Committee will consist of three (3) members,
               one from each class year and will be chosen by the Steering Committee.

               	       	      E.  The Chair of the Steering Committee shall be chosen by the
               Steering Committee members and must be a member of Middleham and St.
               Peter’s Parish
               	       	      	      Duties of the Chair are to:
                                   •  Preside at Steering Committee, Partnership meetings and
                                      any other special meetings of the Partnership
                                   • Oversee the structure, management and work of the BC
                                      Steering committee and the BCPDRP Partnership. This
                                      includes setting meeting agendas, reviewing partnership
                                      priorities and programs to address community needs,
                                      guiding budget setting and the reviewing and revising of
                                      Bylaws.
                                   • interact with the leadership of Middleham and St. Peter's
                                      Parish including the rector, wardens, treasurer, Vestry and
                                      administrative assistant.
                                   • Act as the community face for both entities interacting with
                                      community leadership, Partner representatives and the
                                      media unless the chair delegates to another steering
                                      committee member.
                                   • Approve requests for expenditures and reimbursement,
                                   • submits these to the MSP treasurer and reports them to the
                                      BCPDRP treasurer.
                                   • All media articles, Letters to the Editor and written
                                      communications to local community organizations (i.e. BOE,
                                      County Commissioners) must go out under the Chair's name
                                   • Be the official representative for the Steering Committee and
                                      the Partnership at community functions - unless otherwise
                                      delegated by the chair.
